Can the status of traveler be transferred to another person in the package travel contract?

Yes, the traveler may transfer his position in the package travel contract to a person who meets all the conditions applicable to that contract/trip. The assignment must be notified in advance to the organizer and, where appropriate, to the retailer on a durable medium and made, at least, Seven days before the start date of the combined trip. The organizer and, where appropriate, the retailer, must inform the transferor of the actual costs of assigning the status of traveler to the transferee and the latter will be jointly and severally liable with the transferor for the amounts outstanding payment of the price, and for other amounts generated derived from the transfer.
