Is it appropriate to change the price of a package trip?

Careful! You can only increase prices unilaterally if this possibility is expressly reserved in the package travel contract, and in addition, it is established that the traveler is entitled to a reduction of them for identical concepts, which are: a) the price of passenger transport derived from the cost of fuel or other energy sources, b) the level of taxes or fees on the travel services included in the contract, required by third parties who are not directly involved in the execution of the package trip, including tourist fees, taxes and surcharges, landing and boarding or disembarking at ports and airports, or c) the currency exchange rates applicable to the package trip. In principle, the price may only be increased, unilaterally, by a maximum of 8% or, otherwise, the traveler may choose to cancel the trip free of charge.
